Turning to Darkness P-2Turning to Darkness Part 2This is fiction ( the start of a Vampire story ) It had been about a year since the last time Rachel had dreamed about the Shadow Prince. When she was very small she use to think he was real, but later realized he must be a figment of her own imagination. However he was not like other imaginary friends, he was more like a phantom uncle. Every so often he would come to town, pay a few social calls then be off again on some mysterious adventure. Each visit followed a similar pattern, the Shadow Prince would dance with Rachel?s mother then when mom was tired, he would put her to bed and spend some time with Rachel. With out ever thinking about it, Rachel had been convinced that with her mother gone, the Shadow Prince would pay no more visits, so she was very surprised to see him in her dreams one night. ?Your room smells of fear little princess, what troubles you?? he asked. Rachel babbled out the entire story of her life over the past few months, all the things she wanted to say to someone but had kept hidden. She sobbed as she explained how her father rapped her, taken her virginity and now used her for sex almost every day. It was no longer painful, but each time seemed every bit as humiliating.
