Jack is Back at Home

Jack was back at home. And not just his own home but his hometown. The place he lived in when he was a kid. He couldn't believe how everything had gotten smaller. He had met his parent's neighbors and some old acquaintances but most of his real friends were gone. Moved to bigger places. And so had Jack done also. California had been extremely good for him and it had turned out that the little fish from this little town had it what it took to be a big fish in a big town. But now that he had sold his business he was taking some time off for himself.
After working hard for a decade he was pleased that he had the opportunity to really sit down and think what to do next in his life. And before he would start anything new he decided to visit his parents and really spend some weeks with them just doing nothing. Helping them a little with fixing the old house and assuring them that if they lacked anything he was more than capable to help them financially if needed. His paps thanked him but told that he and Jack's mother didn't really need anything special. But told him also that they were very proud of him for all that he had achieved.
