Albel and Dante Ch. 01

"Calm down Albel." Jen said holding his arm
"I want to go see dad." Albel said jumping up and down
Jen laughed it had been a year since Nick went to the front lines. Albel was 10 now and he was growing quickly. It has only been a year since the war started and it was taking a toll on both of them. Jen was not allowed to go fight with Nick because they thought she should stay with Albel so that incase anything happened to Nick she would still be there for Albel.
"Here they come." Albel said pointing to the soldiers.
There was a look of sadness on the soldiers faces as they approached the castle. Jen frowned knowing what it must mean. Albel saw a tear stream down her face and pulled on his mothers dress.
"What's wrong mommy?" He asked
She looked at him and then at the casket the men were carrying. She fell to her knees and sobbed not knowing how to tell a 10 year old boy that his father was dead.
"Mommy what's going on?" Albel asked
The sergeant came and helped Jen up. Albel just stared at the casket and then at his mother. Albel ran up to the casket and started to kick it.
"You broke your promise." Albel said running away. Jen looked up and saw a girl run after Albel. She knew it was Dante Albel's best friend. Jen had known Dante's parents before they died she also knew that Dante would grow up to be a very wise person. She knew that Dante would help Albel through all of this.
Albel ran into the castle and to his room. He didn't want anything to do with anyone right now his father had promised him that he would come back from the war alive. Now his father was dead and he knew that his mother would not be the same. If there was anyone besides himself that his mother loved it was his father and without him he knew she wouldn't last long.
"Albel can I come in?" Dante asked knocking on the door
"Yes"
"Are you going to be ok?"
"No"
"Come on Albel I know it's hard but don't take it out on your mom."
"I'm not I'm mad at my father."
"Why?"
"He said he'd come back and now he's dead." Albel said tears running down his cheeks.
"It'll be ok I'm here for you. I always will be." Dante said hugging him
"What do you know your parents are dead and your nothing but an ugly girl leave me alone!" Albel said pushing Dante to the floor
"If that's how you feel then I'll leave you alone." Dante said wiping tears from her face. She left the room and looked back at the door
"Goodbye Albel the Wicked." She said and left the castle
10 years later
Albel walked to his parent graves by 15 he had lost both of his parents and had run his best friend off the day his father died. He hated the world and didn't want anything to do with the war. Thought he had no choice now that he was king. He had killed many ruthlessly like they killed his father.
"My lord there is someone here to see you." A servant said
"Who?" Albel asked staring at his parents graves
"She did not say. She is waiting in the conference room."
Albel looked surprised. He barely got any visitors and when he did I was with the local whore. Albel shrugged and started to head to the conference room. Albel was a good looking boy he was tall at 6'0 and slim with muscles in all the right places. His eyes were a dark green and his hair was brown and black that was about shoulder length.
Albel walked to the conference room slowly not really wanting to talk to anyone. When he finally got to the conference room he stood in front of the door and sighed. He opened the door and walked in. The girl was standing by the window. her hair went down to her thighs and was jet-black. She turned when she heard him walk in and smiled. Albel looked at her and smiled Kartal travesti back. She was beautiful. Slim and curvy in the right places, firm round breast stood on her chest he looked at her and thought she had to be at least a C cup. She was tall for a girl and this made Albel smile even wider she had to be at least 5'8. Her eyes were a light blue that made the ocean look like crap.
"You dont know who I am do you?" She asked
"Should I know who your are?" He asked
"You have always been one to overlook someone because of beauty."
"Who are you if you know me?"
"It's only been 10 years and you've already forgot me?"
"Dante?! It cant be you."
"So you do remember Albel."
He looked her up and down. How could this be Dante? When he saw her last it was when his father died and she had been fat and ugly. Now here she was a beautiful flower that he never knew existed.
"So are you just going to stand there or are you going to welcome me home?" Dante said
"Oh yes welcome back D..Dante" Albel stuttered
"I guess you weren't expecting me after what you did."
"I'm sorry for that i was upset."
He remember the day Dante tried to comfort him after he found out his father died. When he threw her to the ground he saw her cry for the first time and knew he had lost her and now here she was right before him.
"I didn't cry because you hurt me I cried because I never thought you'd do that to me." She said seeing his frown
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you."
"You are a man now 20 years old today I believe. Happy birthday." Dante said
"How can you be so kind after what I did." Albel asked
"That is in the past. I did not leave because of you. I left to fulfill my destiny and that is why I have also returned." Dante said
"What is your destiny?"
"That will become clear later. As for now I am here to help a you in your time of need."
Those words made Albels mind jump. What needs was she talking about. Was it the war or was it that horrible feeling of not being with a woman in months. Either of the two was fine with him he had his friend back and she was a rare beauty. She looked at him and smiled he remembered that she was always wise beyond her years. She was only 19 now but he knew she had the wisdom of a 40 year old.
"So what's been going on?" She asked walking over to him
"Just concerned with the war." Albel said
"You have killed many."
"Yes in defense."
"You have also had many partners."
"I..." Albel started blushing
"You don't have to be shy.' Dante giggled
"How did you?"
"I'm a prophet. I know all."
"A prophet?"
"Yes that is why i left. I also know that you barely thought of me." Dante said turning to the window again
Albel saw two daggers strapped to her waist. He was surprised for he knew she hated to fight. He kept staring at he looking at the hurt in her eyes. He cared for her as a little sister but there were new thoughts in his mind now. She was beautiful and he wanted her but he knew she would never be his.
"Is something wrong?" Dante asked
"No nothing. I thought you knew all." Albel answered shaking his head
"Some things are unclear but I can see that there is something bothering you." Dante said
Albel was just about to speak when soldiers barged into the room. They had their swords drawn and looked worried.
"Sire the enemy approaches. They sent a messenger to speak with you." The tall soldier said
"Then send him in. Dante I'll have you escorted to my chambers stay there until I call for you." Albel said
"I will not leave your side." Dante said taking a seat
"But I don't want..." Albel started
"Hush. Kartal travestileri I will not be hurt in today's battle no one from our side will be." Dante said
The messenger from the enemy came into the room. Albel and Dante both looked at him. He was a handsome man standing taller then Albel at about 6'3 and with longer hair then Albel as well. His shoulder were broad and strong like he worked out a lot. Dante smiled and Albel looked at her with a look that could kill. She shrugged and giggled. He smiled when he saw Dante looking at him.
"I'm going to get straight to the point. We have you outnumbered 1000 to 1. We will back off if you give us one thing." The man said
"And what is it you want?" Albel said drawing his sword
"Now now Albel the wicked no need for violence. We just want the girl she will be a good asset to our kingdom and to my bed." The man said pointing at Dante with a look of lust in his black eyes
Albel started to go after the man but Dante stood up and grabbed his wrist. Hugging him with her head resting against his back he lowered his sword and placed his hands on hers.
"Do not worry Albel I will not go with him and the only bed i will be sleeping in is yours." Dante said releasing Albel and walking up to the man.
The man smiled and looked down at her. "So your are going to come with me." He said reaching for her
Dante smiled and put her hand out and said "Rings of judgement!"
A ring of flames appeared on the floor around the mans feel then another one around his waist and finally one above his head Dante smiled and snapped her fingers the flames then burst over the man engulfing him in flames. He screamed and the fire burned his skin. He ran through the door leaving them and the soldiers.
"Do not fear." Dante said going to the window. She looked at the thousands of enemy soldiers. Albel was giving orders for an all out attack.
"I said do not fear!" Dante screamed walking out onto the balcony. She looked at the army and raised her hands to the sky. "Powers of the sky UNLEASH." Dante screamed
Lightning and thunder started to appear in the bright sky and the clouds became dark blocking the sun. Dante stood there with her arms in the air as a bolt of lightning came out of the sky and blasted the enemy. The army started to run as more lightning started to come from the sky killing everyone it touched. Within five minutes the entire enemy army was dead. Dante stood there lowering her arms and collapsed. Albel ran to her side and saw blood coming from her hands.
"Dante! Dante!" Albel screamed picking her up
"I'm fine just a little backfire." Dante said
"How in the world did you do that?" The soldier asked placing the table cloth around her hands to stop the bleeding.
"I control the elements. That was not the full extent of my power though." Dante explained
Albel was shocked at her words. She could control the elements? No wonder why the enemy wanted her. One attack killed over 1000 people. That was not the only thing that Albel was thinking about. He thought about what she had said before she started her attack on the enemy did she mean what she said.
"Sire we should get her to the doctor. Sire?" The soldier who had the table cloth around Dante's hands said.
"No need I'm fine." Dante said showing him her hands were completely healed.
"How did you do that?" Albel asked coming out of his trance
"I was the one who did it who do you think protects her?" A voice said
"Who's there?" Dante said setting Dante down
"Come out Lava it's ok." Dante said rubbing her ear
When she moved her hand a small fairy came out of her ear. Albel gasped and grabbed Travesti kartal the small red fairy.
"Let go you idiot." The fairy said
"Be polite Lava." Dante said grabbing Albels hand making him release Lava
"Ok Dante. I'm just looking out for you." Lava said sitting on her shoulder
"This is Lava he's my urban fairy he heals me when I get hurt." Dante explained
"You shouldn't have used that spell. You know your power isn't fully developed yet." Lava grunted
"They were outnumbered...Oh Albel what i said to the man I meant every word." Dante said blushing
Albel looked at her and smiled. He never realized how much he missed her. Yes she looked a lot different from when he last saw her but she was still Dante. Her glowing eyes, her beautiful smile and her long hair that shined in the sun. She was exactly like he remembered her only slim and beautiful. He wanted her now more then anything.
"You are dismissed thank you for your help." Albel said to the soldiers
"Are you ok kid you look rattled." Lava asked flying in front of Ablels face
"I'm fine get out of my face." Albel said swatting at Lava
"You left the master for this kid? You must be crazy!" Lava said looking at Dante
"Master? You had a master?!" Albel looked shocked
"Yes is that a shock? I was in training so someone had to teach me." Dante said
"I guess...Did you and him.." Albel started but was cut off
"That is really none of your concern!" Lava yelled sitting on Dante's shoulder again
"What have I told you Lava." Dante said looking down at the red fairy
"Be polite." Lava said rolling his eyes
"My master and I were very close. He had other student but he favored me. He ever proposed marriage." Dante explained
"And that's when she hightailed it out of there." Lava said
"You make it seem like a bad thing." Albel said sitting down
"It is a bad thing. If she would have married him she would not be involved in this pathetic war and she would certainly not be involved with you, Albel the Wicked." Lava said
"Then she shouldn't have come. I did not ask for her to come back." Albel yelled standing up
"So my vision was right you don not want me here." Dante said her eyes filling with tears
Lava and Albel looked at her. They did not mean what they said and they both knew that they hurt her badly. Lava knew the reason Dante left the loving home of her master. She had always been in love with Albel.
"That's not what I meant." Albel said
"Then what did you mean?" Dante asked
"I don't really know."
"Do you want me here now because of my beauty?"
"How could you think something like that?" Albel asked frowning
"I do not think Albel I know I can see into your mind. Beauty has always over powered your judgement." Dante said walking toward the door
"Where are you going?" Albel asked
"To visit your parents. Then I will be returning to my master." Dante said leaving the room
Lava and Albel stood in the conference room and said nothing. It was a good five minutes before Lava finally spoke
"You really are stupid boy."
"Who are you calling stupid?" Albel screamed
"You. Can't you see she cares for you? She left a man who loved her for her and not her beauty to come back to you in your time of need."
"Why though I only but her through pain."
"She is your friend no matter what you did to her in the past there is still kindness that you did as well."
"I don't deserve her friendship."
"No Albel you don't deserve her love." Lava said going after Dante "One more thing the they end of this war you will die...Dante came here to stop that" Lava said coming back into the room
"How does she plan to stop that?" Albel asked
"By giving her won life in return for yours." Lava said leaving the room again.
